USA: Research Scientist in Bioinformatics, The Department of Computer Science, The University of Chicago
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago invites applications from exceptionally qualified candidates for the position of Research Scientist in Bioinformatics. The successful candidate will work with world-leading faculty in Computer Science and Human Genetics to pioneer novel computational solutions to leading problems in statistical, population, and human genetics (http://www.genes.uchicago.edu). This position is funded for three-years, with subsequent renewal contingent on funding and performance. Salary and benefits are competitive.
This position requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with experience with biological problems and/or a strong background in statistics.
